Hey All,
I've just arrived home from a regatta, from which I was pulled by the local authorities, because I failed to display proper CF (california U.S.A boat registration) numbers.I was told some time ago that sailboats used for racing only and on the water during the course of a permitted race, were given exemption from hull registration numbers.Additionally, the I14's and A-cats with whom we shared this same venue at a regatta not three weeks ago, ALL had "CF FREE" hulls...Any local knowledge (apologies to the international fleet), would be greatly appreciated.
