Westland Cup 2004: Daniel van Kerckhof + Annaliese Byrne got a 1st in their class. F20, F18 and H16's got their own starts so the class Daniel and Anna-liese won the "open class" of 29 cats containing all the faster boats like FX-ones, I-17's Unmeasured F18's and Unmeasured F20 + more.
The F18's and F20's were racing the same course as the open class and Daniel often finished at about 12 minutes after the first F20's which started at least 10 minutes earlier. These two are seriously fast sailors on th Taipan. Great Westland Cup race weekend. More info and stories in a few days.
Their is definately interest in the F16 class here on the beach !
