Ok Holger. I thought perhaps the changing of dates made it easier for you to go. Thanks for letting me know.
Now I'll get to work on the swedes.. There is a 80% chance of seeing a completely new model of F16s there, so perhaps that can lure somebody out <img src=

Nope, I am going to be a bastard about it until the event is over. Those who come will see first <img src=

Dear all,

If I want to be at the Nordic Week, I have to prepare right now. F16 races will be on Monday and Tuesday (28 / 29 July). I have to leave early on Tuesday, because I have to fly from Hamburg to Bristol in the evening. However I could arrive on Saturday and if somebody else is doing that, we could have some training and fun on Sunday.

Cheers,

Klaus

Klaus,

sadly, there will not be enough boats for a class this year. I am very sorry! I think we need some more boats in scandinavia and no other events further south in europe to make this event viable. It is too bad as it is a very nice place to race and meet.

The new F16 design we might have seen there was the argentinian(?) design we discussed earlier, but that will not happen either.

Don't worry. Now, there is a dealer who sells Vipers in northern Germany. At least one is already sold and raced in Texel. And if you keep on building Blades, we should be able to make it 2009.

Cheers,

Klaus

Rolf,

Any idea if this new model could make it to Wales? If it could make the trip in July, maybe it can also make the trip in August?

Klaus,

Wales is not that that far if you could drive to Sweden or is it?

Sorry, have not visited the site for quite some time. I have never raced before, but I would like to participate. I assume I will learn a lot 🙂

Gill,

I have to commit that I don't have a F16, but a Javelin 16 <img src=

/>. I will not overstretch the kindness of the F16 community by going to a pure F16 event.

In fact even Belgium is more distant than southern Sweden. It is just a trip of 400km via the bridges or maybe 100km and than the ferry. It seems to be a good place, well centerd around some F16s (and me). Let see what happend next year, maybe 2 or 3 boats from Germany, 1 + x from Norway, obviously 1 + x from Sweden and some (how many?) from Finland...

Cheers,

Klaus
