In my opinion this is really something. The French have a considerable catamaran sailing scene and are afterall also the father and monther of F18 sailing. Now with the announcement of the Taipan F16 (fully optimized) we are just 1 production run away, that of the Blade F16, to offer 3 exiting F16's to the French. I'm assured that this run will will be completed in the near future.

The F16 optimal weight range fits the French very well. The Northerns like the Dutch, the Germans, Danes, Brits etc are all a bit taller and larger often favouring the F18's. However the central 140 kg's weight in the competitive weight range of 115 kg - 160 kg that is linked the F16's is just perfect for the central and southern Europeans.

So two paths are merging into one. One path hat over the last few years has led to three independent F16 designs (a necessity in my opinion for a viable formula class) and the introduction of the F16's to France.

The future holds some great promisses, now we only need to materialize them
