From http://www.ussailing.org/portsmouth/tables05/tables05mh.htm:

A Class Cat A-C 64.8 69.5 65.7 64.0 61.0
Formula 16 Slp spi F16HP 65.3 69.3 67.5 64.9 62.3
Formula 16 Uni spi 1-up F16HPU 66.4 70.0 68.5 66.0 63.3
Formula 18 Slp spi F18 62.6 66.1 64.4 61.5 59.5
Hobie FX-One spi 1-up HFX1U S 69.2 74.0 71.3 69.2 65.7
Nacra F17 Uni spi (NI17R) NF17 66.7 69.0 68.3 66.6 65.0

Sorry I can't figure out how to format columns here, but the first number is DPN and the remaining are wind handicap numbers for Beaufort ranges (left to right): 0-1, 2-3, 4 and 5-9.

I for one feels this is alot more fair to both us and the crews on other types that we race against. A drop of 2.5% = 90 sec / hour. F16 must be capable to sail to that rating easily; it could be lower still in comparison to F18 and I-20's and with reason. But it is definately a better rating then before. I strongly believe it's ratio to I-17R, FX-one and A-cat is alot better than before. In these later cases it could be quite accurate even.

A good conversative modification. Respect to Darline Hobock I say !

I'm surprised to see the Blade F16 is listed separately. Surely the only class rules it is built to, and is sailing to, are those of the F16, so why list it separately? Is there an independent Blade F16 class or set of class rules (or both)?

The USsailing committee does this for all boats even for the F18/Tiger etc. If you look carefully you'll notice that all of the ratings numbers of the F16 slp spi and Blade F16 are identical. It is a copy-paste job. The Blade F16 doesn't have its own class rules.
