Quote from Bundy's Twitter -

Deta Llyod North Sea Regatta starts tomorrow. Sailing the Viper in the F20 class, F18's wouldn't let us play. Is the boat that fast??

The North Sea Regatta can be followed on this link - North Sea Regatta

Interesting....

Fog gets in the way

on the first day...

Another couple of quotes from Bundy's and Carolijn's Twitters from the North Sea Regatta:

Bundy writes -

Closer racing the Viper against the F20's than I thought lead the first 2 laps in fist race. 3rd overall in F20 with no handicaps.

AND

Got to start with F18's in the 3rd race. 2nd to top mark. 4th over the finish. Viper's quicker than U think.

Carolijn writes -

The Viper: she might be little but she sure is fast!

I think they are coming to terms that BIGGER is not necessary BETTER....

It was foggy today as well. After the first race everyone was sent back to the beach just before visibility got too bad.
Then we where sent out again at 15:30 and did another two races, the Viper looked very fast. Although I guess the crew sailing it has something to do with this.

It's called sailing a boat to its rating.

Interesting detail is that Bundock/Brouwer supported the proposal to have the Viper race against the others (F18's) on a first-in-wins (elasped time) basis.
