Ok guys, the boat's together on Flathead Lake, new SNU coming from Dennis, tramp is at the sailmakers for repair. Everything else seems pretty well dialed in.
So what should I be running for diamond tension on this 2002 boat, tapered carbon mast? I'm 160 lbs, 6' tall, and when I add crew, they're probably 180 or more. I've got the simple Loos guage. Any advice would be appreciated!

Cor 360lbs plus, you are going to be well down on the waterline marks. <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" /> <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" /> <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />

JP advises to set the diamond wire more on the water than by loos guage, just set the windward wire to be just going loose when out trapezeing, the carbon mast is pretty forgiving but you may be pretty over ballasted at 180 for a crew.

A good starting point, maybe just tension it up a tad plus a couple of turns on the nut and then test drive.
