[#16753]

Help me decide. I am torn between both designs. I think they both look good. Maybe one on one hull and the other on the other!

My vote is for #1 as well.

#2 just doesn't work.

Neither - vinyl adds weight .
1, if you must customise. It looks cooler.

That sized stickers are indeed going to add weight and distrube the smoothness of the hull in cutting/shedding water. May even be a performance hit in there.

But if you have to go for -1-; number -2- doesn't work indeed.

Possibly a performance hit - but have a look at what the Nissan/Hobie guys have on their boats: http://voile-cotiere.com/actualite/original/a1086186781b1.jpg . Didn't seem to be slowing them down too much at the UK F18 Nationals...

Love the responces. Thank you all. Very True, number two just does not flow. Number one is kinda big, but I like big and bold graphics.

I dont think vinyl creates a performance hit. And the weight? that ammount of vynil must weigh, MAYBE two or three ounces at the most.

Although the boat looks uber sexy now. But plain white is just that, TOO PLAIN.

Dunno yet. Gotta see how my mood swings. I am now definatley more inclined for number 1.

If you like that you'll love this, its a graphic on the side of ABNAMRO's HQ in Amsterdam. (The quality is not great. I shot this picture with my phone while driving past it the other day, (Driveby shooting? ))

#1 looks great. I disagree with Wouter about performance, though. Forget about drag, weight, etc. When you look fast you'll be fast!

Tony, yes that is indeed SICK! (as in good, awesome, big and bold)

I was in New York the other day, specifically at Times Square. There is a building there, must be a couple of hundred storys (floors) high. There is a yellow banner, with a photo of a kitten dangling from a line. The darn banner must be atleast 100 storys high. Talk about INSANELY HUGE!

ahahhahaha Erick you crack me up.

Actually that's a pretty good alternative to paying for colored hulls. Splash of Color without the hassle of Colormatching with repairs. Have to ask Bill Hendrix about that.

Definitely less can be more. [Linked Image]

Robi,

As you stated #1 maybe a little smaller, say 75%. Very nice work!
