[#25661]

Hi - Newbie with 2007 infusion. I need a boat cover. Anyone know where I can get a good used one or thoughts on where to get a new one (I have called Kinder and Harken Canvas in WI to get time frames and quotes).

Thanks,
MK

We have 5 sets of Kinder covers in the NE fleet... they are great and the envy of those who didn't get in on the order...

I have a Kimber cover which I order through Murray's. Very nice, if fits well, tight seams etc. One issue which I don't know if it was a mistake on mine alone or if their templates are wrong.

There are velcro seams at critical points so the cover can be installed with the rig up. The velcro slot that should be at the crew's trap wire (front beam) is actually located at the back beam. I wondered for a long time why there was a slot at the back beam, I had the cover for a year before I put it on the boat while it was rigged. Figured it out pretty quickly then. If you order one, you should enquire with the manufacture regarding this.

But regardless, it is still a great cover, I think around $750 to $800 as memory serves.

My Infusion kinder cover has two openings on the sides. One lines up with the shroud and the other with the rear trap wire. There is no opening for the front wire. I just disconnect it from the bungee and tie it off to the rear trap. The fewer openings, the better!
