Don,
Thanks for bringing this to the top. Surf City was planning to be there in full force with a media blitz including live video feed for the cats, but some things came up. We may be there in a subdued fashion, but we may go up to Huntington Lake, which is unfortunately scheduled for the same weekend. We are still assessing...Stand by...

Thought I was Bay Area.
Actually I'm in between but I'm Division 3 all the way.
Sorry Rich...I debated where to put you and rather than limbo I picked PNW because your location does not say
bay area
to me. I think of the bay area as a bit over 50 miles from the bottom to the top. You are a bit under 300 miles away from the top. I am about 400 miles from the race site. I just recently realized that you are almost 600 miles from Seattle (PNW), so Bay Area you will be. <img src="<>/blush.gif" alt="blush" title="blush" height="15" width="15" />

I do like graphs...

For the F18 fleet - I will have the class scales on site for anyone that wishes to complete certification. Keep in mind that a certificate is required for entry at the North Americans in August, and also will be required for regional events (like the Western Area Championship) in 2011. Weighing is painless and pretty quick. Consider getting it out of the way in case you decide to become certified later. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />
And SoCal is coming with a can full o' whoop. Any takers for a SoCal v. NorCal challenge? Top four from each score toward points? Rum stakes?
Thanks very much to all who have labored to make this into a really fun event and something that is truly our first West Coast Championship.
John:
I know you do not care what side you are on...you just want a bet right? I will take the SoCal if you take the NorCal.
Later,
Dan
Can't wait to see the Whoopass!
I'm thinking about having a pre-party **** hour at the parts trailer after sailing Sat . If I can get my act together, I've got a special treat for everyone and I'm going to need all hands on deck...Yes, you should be slightly worried. <img src="<>/cool.gif" alt="cool" title="cool" height="15" width="15" />

Look for the milder stuff to extend deeper in to the latter part of the week than expected. But 8-13 knots will be really nice to race in, with three days of milder breeze to moderate the wave action.
