[#26691]

I am missing the Miami Key Largo race for the first time in nearly 15 years. I have class thursday and a paper due friday.

I am really hurting because this is one of those races that is always a great time no matter what the weather.

Eric, you don't look well, as a matter of fact, you might be carrying the Swine Flue virus. I'm sure the school would appreciate it if you didn't bring that around and start an epidemic. Pick up the phone and let them know you will be doing them a favor if you stay home.

BTW, I've heard that massive amounts of salt water will flush it out of your system however...

Well, concidering the race is not until Saturday you are in good shape.

Unfortunately, I won't be going either but I was hoping to live vicariously through you. I have been trying to call you but your vmail on your phone does not work.

Are you going to be doing the Reef Run? I am not going to be doing it but I can help with Ground Crew if you need.

Hey Craig,

I can't go either like I had planned, I am stuck in SC until next week. I still have to get to FLA and transfer my rigging from the busted mast to the replacement in time for the Mug Race.

Missed you at Sebring. Timbo came out and hung around several of the days. I think he might have spent some time w/the Patron girls. <img src="<>/laugh.gif" alt="laugh" title="laugh" height="15" width="15" />

We will shoot for MLK next year.

Sorry to hear about your mast. What Happened.

Sebring...I had to launch a new website for Gunnars Team and I did not get the info to start it till the Sunday before it. I was also doing a lot of video work. This year was the first year I missed the BBQ but I was just too slammed with work. I averaged 20/hr days for the three days I was there. I am glad Timbo had fun. Despite all the work, that is still one of my favorite races.

I am sitting out racing this year to concentrate on work and the endurance series. I am also preppring my boat to make a run to the Bahamas at the end of the summer and if they get the go ahead for the Cuba Run, I will do that too.

Busted it and lost a rudder and boom at Dunedin back in Feb. Scary day but we are wiser now.

And Thank You Very Much Jack, for making that possible! I owe you lots more beers and a bottle of Patron as well.

Hope all is well and the mast gets fixed.
