F18 Sailors!
This year the US Multihull Championship for the Alter Trophy is being sailed on the F18 as part of the infamous Buzzards Bay Regatta. With the new boat rotation format, this opportunity will only comes along every few years.
The host for the event is the New Bedford Yacht Club in beautiful Padanaram, MA. The entry fee for the event is a very affordable and reasonable -$150 for 3 incredible days of racing. Each competitor will receive great memories and a Gill technical shirt..
Wouldn't it be great to add a National Championship title to your list of accomplishments and become part of the history of this prestigious event? The US Multihull Championship for the Alter Trophy comes with bragging rights!
The event is scheduled for August 6th – 8th. Here is the link to the NOR with more details – Buzzards Bay NOR

Did you see something in the NOR that made you think there was a rotation format?

Mike, my question was based on the original post and its reference to a boat rotation format. When I checked the NOR there was nothing about boat rotation so I posted the question here.

I see now what she was trying to get at... it will be a while before the F18 is chosen again.

Copy. Thought there was a typo.

I"m very happy that it's back on F18s for the spinnaker boats' turn in the rotation. Great fleet. Excellent sailors. Hope to see you there.

If anyone needs a charter, please contact El Presidente Todd or myself. We are hoping to have a list of boats available.

My boat may be available, or I might be looking for a skipper. Hit me up if interested.

On station, AP went up at 1030, waiting for sailors (launching the fleets is a challenge here). 5o5s and F-18s on this circle.

Todd was the first F-18 to find us out here...

Race 4, second weather mark, Easton just walking away, Parent second, Tartaglino third. Big gap for the last three. Riccardi snuck ahead of Zellmer, Tall Guy about to round.

There were seven in the first two, one breakdown went to shore.
