Are you trailering or is it in the water? I think Timbo and I volunteered awhile back.

You raise the fleet, I can help grease the wheels with the race bosses.

I finally met Ding here last year, but it was way more fun watching his starting line antics. It reminded me of a conversation with some boys from Tennessee at the Hobie Mid Winters East at St. Augustine back in the 80',

We quit drinking beer while racing. Now we take a good swig of Jack Daniels at the 5 minute gun and get real aggressive for the start

.

On a trailer. I'm trying to reach out and talk them into it but they have the same excuses I do (crew, travel, AA meetings, probation, etc).

They said Buzzelli was too far, but CHR may be palatable as it's only 1 hour away. The Punta Gorda dude has no excuse for CHR.

Maybe it was his experience from last year as we previously discussed.

Hey guys I know this is kinda late but I have a student here in Fort Walton Beach from Puerto Rico that wants to sail. We found him a Hobie 16 but need to trailer it to Juana's or he's going to attempt to sail it from FWYC this afternoon. His name is Luis Rodriquez and his contacts are luismapur@yahoo.com / 787-354-7922.

Can anyone help?

Dave and all sailors - Congratulations on the turnout. The drone is right on. Phantom I or II?

Hope your brother enjoyed the N 17 and that you enjoyed the atmosphere. The Rudzkis and Kevin always put on a great show.

Any link to results?

What a great venue and a fanstastic sail! You can find the results on the Juana's Facebook Page:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Juanas-Pagodas-and-Sailors-Grill/164977120863

The distance race on Saturday was everything a spin boat team could ask for. An efficent (VMG) upwind fetch to pensacola and a double trapped spin reach home. Even Mr. Doug (Blade1) took a break half way home so they could sail the rest of the way with Sweetness and me. Yes I did see your

oh sh!t

, nice save by the way.

Mr. Smith had an idea about starting the spin boats on the outside and finishing us on the inside... kind of an RTI lite. It would be a bit more of a hassle for the OA but what a nice add. Of course it's only fun if there is company. Regardless of where Saturday is run I'm in! We're not driving home Sunday though, what a freaking drag!

Oh and about my brother... the little sh!t didn't even offer me a ride on his shiny new toy. I also need to find out why he spells his name funny.

I was carried away by the drone video your brother made of the GT 300. My son told me last evening that he had spoken with Mr. Smith, who stated Sam, is your son. What is the call? Glad to see the Ingrams on F 18s and N 17s with drones to enhance the joy of spreading our wings.

I am really confused; guess I should have been there, but spent Saturday in the ER for cooking some meat I let sit out on Friday while working in the yard. That slowed me down a bit because by the time I was rescued I found my a## in Cantonment, FL. The good thing is I received great care and enjoyed Sunday football viewing a 60" HD tv.

Mahalo for the results' link,
B

Was the drone a Phantom I or II - maybe another design??? Better get 'em now while we can, without all the certification that might be lying in the road ahead ... Big Brother will soon be watching 🙂

Bert, I didn't create the drone video the creators name is posted with the video and we were not at the gt300. As for Sam, he's not my son I was just having a bit of fun there.

Post your drone questions on Juanas Facebook page I'm not sure if the creator visits this page.
