Why does

NACRA

have a North American Championship every year?

I can only speak for this year - they just can't bear to miss out on a chance to sail with the cool kids at Racine, Wisconsin.

Couldn't resist! Go get yourself signed up (NAF18's included)! http://crawsailing.net/Racine2010

Rich:

If you want to go to Racine there is a container leaving from Southern California. I know that you are quite a ways away but if you would like to we have eight teams with their reservations in already, possibly two more ready to join up. Contact me if you are interested.

Later,
Dan

Right North American Championship for the North American Cat Racing Assoc. Kind of redundant.

I'm looking at Racine. I have to go to Ohio close to that time. If it is outside the time I need to be in Ohio I will just take my boat with me.

Rich from where you are you could walk it in less than 30 days, bike in less than 10 days, and drive it in less than 2 days. On Google maps you are less than 2500 miles with an option of 3 routes.

I think unless it were a Moth that you could not check it on the plane. Someone actually did that coming to the US from Australia I believe. I heard that it only cost him an extra $100. Wouldn't it be great if we could all do that with our boats? On that note there is a Moth North American's a bit before ours, August 6-8, at Harbor Springs, MI. The other end of the same Great Lake.

Dan

I'll be 6 hours from the site in Cincinnati. I'll take my truck and camper since the dogs need to come too. It's all in the planning stages now. then the wife can just fly out and fly home. We'll see.

Sounds good. Just so you know, there is RV parking available on site for $20/night, although it's not unlimited. The online registration form allows you to let us know if you'll need a spot.
