[#16118]

I want to add barber haulers to my p18. I was thinking about the Hobie Miracle 20 setup because it is so simple. It goes through the front crossbeam. Does anyone have any suggestions on a better barber hauler arrangement?

Who could help me make sure I order all the parts I need (I couldn’t figure out if I had all the right parts from the diagram)? Is the hobie helpful? Or do I have to order through a regional supplier?

Matt

I'm not sure about the Hobie setup, but the Nacra setup is a bit of a P.I.T.A. I would say to just make sure you get good cleats. The jamb cleats on my boat just don't cut it.

If the set up you are talking about on the H20 is stock, then you can get a parts list on the website at
http://www.hobiecat.com/support/pdfs/PARTS_20.pdf

This is the illustrated parts guide for the stock boat. For my Hobie I usually use this to get eh proper sizes then buy the brand I like. It's a good starting point.

Yeah on that picture it is hard to tell what I need.

I know I need the two rings (BARBER HAULER RING 61290011)

The cam cleats (PIVOT BLOCK HSB129)

But there are two pulleys and two plates to mount onto the front cross bar that I don’t see. That could be BARBER HAULER UPDATE KIT 41160010 or UPDATE PLATE
41162001?

It is hard to tell.

I just want to make sure there is not a better system out there.

You ought to switch over to a self tacking system. It is the [censored]!!!

The two blocks on the front beam are on page 70. Front beam assembly. It is truly simple and works very well. The only "special" parts are the mounting brackets for the pivot blocks.
