be nice if the boats were photographed and put on the site for all to see, instead of having to show up to look at them.

Can you ship a Wave to MA? I'd even be willing to pick it up at Madcatter...

Seriously, good luck with the auction!

Mike

Sail Sand Point has donated two of the H-16's to Fun to Sail in Idaho. They will be fitted with Trapseats and used in their program for sailors with disabilites including Paralyzed Vets of America

Looks like we have 17 Cats to get ready for the Auction April 30 at Sail Sand Point in Seattle. This Sunday, April 17 starting at 11:00, we will have a work party at SSP to get them ready. First task is to move them all to the West end of the Compound. We will then sort out what parts are missing, and try to complete as many as possible from our inventory of spare sails, booms, masts, etc. The better boats will be put on trailers, that will be included in the Auction. Please stop by if you can, all volunteers are welcome, even if just for a few hours. Some pictures, and more info on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sail-Sand-Point/184993028203588
Thanks,
Caleb

Thank you to all the Volunteers that helped get our boats ready for the Auction on April 30. The boats are all now on the West fence side, and pressured washed. We are short some sails, booms, blocks and hardware for our H-14 and H-16's. Some storage customers left their boats and trailers, but took these items home. Please check you spare gear, and see if you might have some items to donate. We would like to have the boats as complete as possible for the Auction.
Thanks for your support.

The Sail Sand Point Auction was a success. Five H-16's, one H-14, 505,
Internation14, and the Sunfish were sold. The rest of the boats will
be offered on Craig's List. In addition, two H-16's were donated to
Fun to Sail in Idaho. The H-14 went a local youth sailor. One H-16 was
picked up by a long time Hobie Sailor from Oregon, for his Daughter.
We plan on making this an Annual Event.
