Has anyone received the corrected times from the Thai showdown?

Has anyone run a comparison between the Texel data and our DPNs under portsmouth for that event?

Many Thanks, but we were looking for elapsed times for data analysis and comparison with how the designs might have fared under the US DPN rating system. Mark sent us back to Wouter's posts. Steve Green, from the Bay Area Multihull Association (San Francisco) is assisting with this. Maybe we should consider adopting Texel for Olympic 'Sanctioned' cat events in the USA since it appears to be the international standard.

Requiring a sudden conversion from US Portsmouth to Texel is not practicable due to the added demands on race organizers and host clubs; however, any USA catamaran regatta which features limited Open Class 'rated' scoring and affects Olympic competition should be in accordance with the international rating system in effect during that quad.

Send me an e-mail at wouterhijink(at)hotmail.com if you so desire
