The CRAC WRCRA Icebreaker results are published. They are prelimary until I sober up.

www.sailcrac.com\regattas\ icbreaker results.

Wind was 5 to 11 clocking from the northe east to the south east. The overcast day turned out great after a brief shower. First boat finished in 3.03 minutes. B ut it was a non spin kind of day.

A big hole on the way to the finish changed the results quite a bit.
The course had quite a long close reach leg in each of the three laps.

Mark

I reserve the right to change any of this.... given the number of beers consumed.

Mark..

PS... free internet is a great thing... (sitting at the Bar in Pirates Cove Restuarant.)

Great day on the bay except for the rain. But WTH, your going to get wet anyway! I'll take a big step out here with I think Mark's inner-self really like sailing the I20, but his out-self just won't let him admit it. Something about being double trapped with the spin up. There will hopefully be pictures at some point.

Oh yeah, check Mark's Forecast above and compare to my observations: E: 4-10, then SE 5-12, then S 3-8. Perhaps NOAA was drinking!

Keith' forcast of flat water was mostly true even given the wide direction.

Hello!

Well.. I was right... I screwed up... (difference between elapsed time and time of day) .... Nothing that coffee and few hours couldn't remedy.

Good news is that we just shuffled the winners around.

Congratulations to
Dave Taylor 5th A cat
Ed Mills 4th A Cat (Protest pending: Bear on board)!
Chris and Colette Bolton 3rd Hobie 20
Constantine Seremetis 2nd Taipan F16 (1)
Chris Ford 1st A cat

Complete results at www.sailcrac.com under Icebreaker Results. the Texel times are also posted (Some ratings are estimated)

Chris spanked everyone with the nearest boat almost 6 minutes back in real time (BCE)

Thanks to Jodie, Wendy and the rest of RC for running the race, photo's and all of the other folks who make events happen.

All is well

Next event is Fleet 54's Gunpowder Regatta!

The webpage is still showing the old results and I can't find the texel rated results, where are they.

Thanks

Wouter

I got the bear and felt the love, till the results got shuffled. It was surely a day for the Chris's. Chris Fords new name is CRISCO. All day long it was "Where the heck did Chris go? Of course the new RacerX sail didn't hurt, did it. Chris Allen and jaunty crew Murph were mixing it up with the journeyman I-20 crews and even pasing an A cat every once in a while. Ooops, who said THAT? (I'm glad this board is annonymous and nobody knows who I am.) Chris Bolton had his H-20 going through the gears as usual but it was only made possible by dynamic crew Collette, who fell asleep on one of the legs but managed to trim the jib as she dreamed of being elsewhere. Constantine (almost a Chris) is starting off another year of high performance on the Taipan, making it look easy to stay with the leaders when running single handed spin. It was good to see Chip and Lee out on Lee's Taipan hoisting all of the laundry. Funky winds on the West River but always a good time with this bunch, eh?
