Dear Chris,
Daniel would check the optimal dates. I can tell you from East Coast transit time will be between 20 and 30 days, but Daniel will confirm.
We haven't decide yet what would be the departure port. Can you advise us about the port what will be closer to the main fleet in the East Coast ?
Thanks and best regards,

Subject: Container from east coast of USA to Cangas
When does the container leave from the east coast of the USA to Cangas? (So I can plan my season and see if I could attend the Hobie Tiger Worlds).

I know of at least one Tiger sailor in these parts that's not keen on losing his boat for the bulk of the sailing season just to sail it in Spain for a week.
(Not me - I have a 14 and a 16 that I could play with while el Tigre was travelling.)
I checked airfares last night - kinda pricey. $1,200 per person from Detroit. Would cost 100,000 frequent flyer miles just to get one person to London or Amsterdam.
I'm not blowing that much dough to get my butt kicked.
