I sailed my first club race at Gulfport Yacht Club, as a member, on Saturday. Nice turn out and even better weather.
For those of you who don't know, this is Gulfport Florida not Gulfport Mississippi. Gulfport Florida is a funky, Key Westey little town just North of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. It is about a two hour drive from Cape Coral.
The club is very friendly and laid back with very good facilities. If you haven't been on the water in a while, come check us out. Club races are the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.
