In the Chesapeake Bay! For all the years I live in this area, this is the first time I've seen this. These are north of Baltimore Light, south of the Potapsco, as seen from the mouth of the Magothy.

Are you sure they aren't just big chunks of styrofoam?
If they are icebergs, where did they come from and where are they going?

Mary - they'd have to be mighty big chunks of styrofoam! Certainly bigger than the chunks found inside a Hobie-18 hull, anyway.
The Bay's been mostly frozen, must just be some big pieces that have broken loose. I guess they'll head down the Bay unless they melt first. I think it's supposed to stay cold, though.
