Is the Inter 18 harder to right from a turtle than other 18 foot cats? The manual stresses the importance of not turtling, and then doesn't cover the procedure to right from a turtle.

I suspect it's more a concern with bouncing that carbon mast on the bottom of the lake.

Righting from a turtle? Is it different for an Inter, than any other cat?

Skipper and crew stand, or get on one of the sterns, (the same stern) . If there is a current, get on the upstream side. Always worked for me, all two times I've been on a turtled cat.

I've only been turtled twice as well (one after the other after I forgot to release the main sheet before righting the boat from turtle the first time! ). That was on my 6.0 and it popped right back up like a cork both times. We got on the corner of the boat that was farthest downwind and sat there for a minute or so. The first time we sat on the stern and the second time it was the bow - worked fine both times.
