Also add your event to the Sailing World Racing calendar.

Write daily updates for your event web site, one paragraph is better than nothing. Take pictures for the event web site. Someone you know owns a digital camera.
Send results updates and pictures to the web master to get on the front page, contact the webmaster. Your regatta doesn’t have to be a National Championship to get put up on the US Sailing Page.

Promoting your regatta well is good for your sponsors and more importantly it’s great for fleet growth and class growth. Sailors won’t get involved if they don’t know you’re out there.
