On September 21, the Ocean Conservancy is coordinating the annual International Coastal Cleanup Day.

In NY, nearly a quarter *million* lbs of debris were collected in last year's cleanup. Wow. ![[Linked Image]](/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif){kind=icon}
This year it's going on for 2 days, the 21st and 22nd.
Many parks are participating; and the deal usually is, you go to the office, sign in and collect gloves and bags, then return the full bags for weigh in and collect a certificate of some kind.
Be sure and let them know you're one of them thar Catamaran thingy sailors!!!
