As I am unemployed and in need of a low cost replacement for a broken Inter 20 Daggerboard I was wondering if anyone is interested in a set for themselves, yes I know they would not be race legal however I can make them in 2 styles and any color (bullet proof and normal breakable) even willing to put custom graphics on them for sponsored teams. Look cool in those flying pics with a logo on the windward board??? How about it? anyone?

Ok, I'll bite. I asked this same thing at your other thread. I've got a Square, they'd be legal for me...

Questions:

1. You doin' em just for Inter? How bout N5.5?

2. Rudders too, perhaps?

3. Whadda they weight?

4. Describe exactly the construction?

5. How much you want for 'em?

I will build any board or rudder you want. the construction can be the same as the original or modified to be lighter / stronger / longer / shorter / and it can be in custom colors and designs. and have logos imbedded in the resin. right now I can make N5.8 N5.2 and Inter 20 parts but moulds could be made for anything.

I'd be interested in some 5.8 foils, if they were well done.

Since they'd be a luxury item/spares, how much $ is critical. What are you thinking of charging?

Yo Daggar Man

1. See what you have started,....the Bill Gates of the D-board industry.

2. I need a set of boards too,...PRICE IS A ISSUE!!!

3. My I-17 uses the I-20 boards........but I want my lenght SHORTENED 30%!......take it from the bottom end,ok?

4. Can you 'cut out' the part in the hull,...like the taipan 4.9 boards?....to save weight where the strenght is not needed

I have not figured the time yet but I will assume that I can produce them for around $250. I will have to make the first ones this week to be certain.

PS I have a used one I can sell you that was only used about 15 times.

$250 is a gestimate based on the retail cost of new inter 20 daggerboards at $495 each. I do not believe that this is a realistic cost and know that I can make them for significantly less. I do not know how much 5.5 boards are retail and I have not built one yet so I do not know how much time is involved I am willing to negotiate the price and it will be much less than performance because I am building them myself and they will not be race sanctified.
