[#12415]

I will not be back out to my boat for several days and have the opportunity to buy some cordage. Can someone tell me the recommended size and length for the Main Sheet (6-1 purchase) and the jib sheet for a Nacra 5.2?

Thanks,

Terry

Parts list shows:

Main (#9012) 7/16" X 40'
Jib (#9018) 5/16" X 33'

If it's not too late, don't forget that the mainsheet and traveler are often rigged as a single, continuous line, and this 40' length may or may not include the length for traveler line.

Thanks for the info!

I always believe in "Mores Law" (If a little bit is good, MORE is better!) I picked up 50 feet of both. Hope this will be enough as the traveler and mainsheet are one line.

Thanks again!

Terry

My N5.7 calls for the same 7/16 x 40 as the 5.2 but I use a single line for the main and traveler @ 5/16 x 48. The thinner line runs through the blocks a lot easier.
