[#12416]

I want to apologize for some inconveniences that you may be experiencing related to this site.
We just moved Friday the 15th from Rick's Place Motel and Sailing Resort to our new little conch house in the Florida Keys. (And Yes! The Wave Nationals, Key Largo Steeplechase, and the Tradewinds are still going be sailed at the same location and maybe even the same hotel)

However, here is the problem. We notified Bell South to transfer our DSL service to the new location on Thursday. Instead they terminated the service and the account, destroying all of our email, which included orders from our New Online Marine Store. (Orders are still being fulfilled as I went into the store software manually and got the information for fulfillment.)

But, if anyone sent me an email at either rick@catsailor.com or catsail@bellsouth.net that information is now in heaven and cannot be retrieved.

I have established temporary dial-up service until the new DSL server get me set up again and as of now you can use rick@catsailor.com

Hope this doesn't disgust you as much as it has me. Anyone know a good lawyer?

Thanks,
Rick

I am in St. Augustine. Moved here 2 years ago from Jax. Same problem. It took BellSouth over 6 MONTHS to figure it out!!! They had to create a new account because of the move. I lost valuable data as well. I cannot count the hours on the phone trying to hash it out. What a mess..... Hopefully they have streamlined that process somewhat.

Hope it works out! I feel your pain.....

Despite them offering 3 months of free service, I went ahead and changed DSL servers. Bell South would not let me use my catsailor.com suffix on my email either, which bugged me, while the new server doesn't care.

Gotta tell ya, this dial up stuff is painful.

Rick
