I just bought a Hobie cat 14 with the jib and was out sailing the other day and couldn't figure out how to put the jib out. I looked on a buddies hobie and it had mounts with slides on the frount rail on the trap. So I was wondering if I had to buy the slides or if there is another way to attach it?

The jib goes to blocks on a wire that runs across the tramp, does your 14 have that wire? Sounds like you are missing a few peices. <img src=
