For those of you that have come to Pensacola Beach and enjoyed sailing with us, I thought you might be interested. For the first time since Hurricane Ivan, they opened part of the beach to the public this week. Here are a few pics I took where it was open and a few pics of what is left of Key Sailing. All they need are 4 walls and some inventory!

Is the launch OK at the big parking lot just west of Tristan? That's my favorite place to back 'er into the sound.

Not sure about the parking lot. They would not let you go that far west (past Tristan Towers) unless you were a resident or construction worker. Usually that parking lot ends up in the water, at least Erin and Opal trashed it, but I'm sure it will be back. That is a nice place to launch.
