I sold my Prindle 16 about 4 years ago and got into other

hobbies

like competition BBQ, but I've gotten the itch to get another beach cat.

My wife doesn't normally like to go out on a cat (she called the Prindle

The Bidet

so I'm looking for a single hander this time.

Anybody got a good recommendation for a

starter

single hander?

Thanks...I've missed hanging out here.

There are some reasonably priced AHPC Taipan 4.9s in Florida listed in the classified section of this web site.

You now have an excellent group of A-Cats on Tampa Bay including:

Woody Cope
Rush Bird
Jennifer Lindsey
Gordon Isco

If you know or can get in touch with any of these sailors, I'm sure they could arrange for you to see and/or sail one of their boats.

A-cats are light, fast, fun and oh so easy to handle and rig by yourself.

Check it out!
