Spring Fever NOR
I was planning on doing Admiral's Cup but I didn't realize it was the weekend just before Spring Fever. If I end up having to choose one over the other (very likely), it's going to be Spring Fever - and that probably applies to several of the local a-cat guys too. We also have the Pee Dee Classic the weekend before Admiral's Cup in Hartsville, SC...a fun low key way to kick off the racing season.
I tell you what... You do Admiral's cup and I'll do Spring Fever. I could even possibly hook you up with some floor space or a driveway for your RV in Bokeelia.
SOLD! I'm in. PM'd you about a possible double stack opportunity.
Karl,
I'm going to provide some advice that you should learn early...
My wife asked about Spring Fever and then GYC F16 Nationals the following weekend:
wife:
which one are you picking
me: [responding quickly]:
I'm going to both
No fuss, no muss. Kitchen pass for both events...AND...(Timbo read here) no quid pro quo!

Well, that wasn't Karl - that was me. And the limitation is of my own device due to the Kitchen remodel I had planned to be undertaking at that time. Lord knows Bonnie doesn't say much about me going to regattas - I do 18 to 20 every year.

I am willing to bet your better half does not peruse this forum. If she does you may find yourself attending neither.

That's a new tone.

Jake,
Understood that i was replying to your post...however .... you're already a lost soul.
Now ... Karl ... there's still hope <img src="<>/eek.gif" alt="eek" title="eek" height="15" width="15" />
And for Beth [HI BETH!!] ... she'll probably be up for doing both too ... because she's very competitive!

Apologies to Jake...didn't read carefully that you'd had a remodelling job scheduled that precludes you from back-to-back regatta's.
Terry, I figured out what I need to start doing. I'll tell her I'm going on a 6 day trip to Africa, dress up in my monkey suit, pack all my sailing stuff in my roll-aboard, and just go out the front door like normal.
Hopefully she won't notice the boat following me to work...

The remodeling just went backburner...the gauntlet thrown. Bokelia AND spring fever it is. Bonnie may have to cook out of the RV from the back driveway for a little longer than planned! <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />
