Thank You, Jeff for keeping us updated with first hand story... there are a good number of US teams on the starting line, and Luke and JC were third after yesterday's race. It would be awesome if we had a couple teams make it in the top five.
Sounds like samc99us was the victim in a port-starboard with damage... I think this was yesterday.
Sam and Jess had the worst day of all, got hit on a port/starboard cross, major damage to port hull, definitely out for today.
