Team Harken remains in the lead of the Harken Buoy Series by a narrow 1 point over Team Tybee/One On after the third race of the series, the Mug Race, held last weekend in Palatka Florida.
Team Tybee/One On sailors LLoyd Berry and Jim Novak sailed their latest boat, an ARC 22, for the first time to help boost Tybee/One On up in the standings. Other teams making a stong showing in their first Harken Distance series event for the year were Teams Dingo and Xango, finishing first and second respectively in the series scoring for the race. Team Cyberspeed also completed their first event for the year finishing third and collecting 6 points.
The next Harken Distance Series event is Gilligans Run, July 22nd, in Daytona Beach Florida.
