Does anyone know who makes or supplies the "buttons" that attach to the rear beam that you normally lace your trampoline to. Preferably a UK or European supplier. Or even what they are called.

Marstrom has them for the Tornado and A. Hobie has them for the H20.
Try and find the kind that have a monel tube inside (I don't know where mine came from) The plastic has long since disappeared but the monel tube and large head monel rivet work fine without it and will probably last as long as the beam
I am still struggling to find these parts, are they specially made for lacing a trampoline or they more commonly used for something else, i.e. attaching boat covers etc.

I dont know which of these will respond quickest, but I have mixed experiences buying small items directly from Marstrøm.
If you are desperate, forget about the rivets and make your own SS hooks, thread the other end of the hook and bolt them with some nylon washers and a lock-nut on the front side of the aft-beam. Requires some fiddling with battens inside, to tighten the lock-nut, but lets you raise the trampoline a bit since it dont have to go under the beam anymore.
If you find similar bolts/rivets, they are probably not in monel, but with a alu house and steel nail. The nail will quickly rust and the fitting will break.
My best tip, order some from the guys in Germany.. I think Wolfgang Heineman works for Catsailing, and he is a nice guy to deal with.

A solution I used was to buy 3/16" I.D. vinyl tubing cut into 1/2" long lengths to use as a spacer between the rear beam and a 3/16" washer secured by a #10 x 1" stainless steel self tapping pan head screw. Not quite as elegant but it has been in use now for 7 or 8 years without any failures.

I have since found another source and much cheaper i.e. 0.15 Euros instead of 2.15 euros for plastic or the same price 2.15 euros for stainless steel.

Bob: I had a stainless self-tapping screw trough an aluminium section on my rudderstocks. It failed last summer, with badly corroded alu where it went trough the stock (factory mounted).
All literature also advise against letting steel and alu be in contact without insulation between, even if you have good experience with it.
Gareth, the heads looks nice, but how do you plan to attach them to your beam? The sailcloth section of their site was not cheap..

could you not just purchase some plastic tubing and cut it to small even sections. Then place a big head rivit in the middle of it and voila!

On older Tboats, the rear beam lacing was attached by standard stainless eyestraps rivetted to the beam.

From the picture they look like what I purchased from Redhead Sails. They were nylon, they worked just fine
I requested some information on the dimensions. If it's even close to what I need I am going to buy 100-200. My Tornado uses 16 and my F14 uses 28.
Every time I find a deal like this I buy enough to last a couple of years and I have never regretted it.
