Weather is great (if you're a weather nerd)

A neat thing happened in our weather this morning. The record will only be visable briefly as this site shows only 2 days of weather history.
Clearwater, FL weather

Some kind of front went through at about 5:00 am. The skies were and remain clear and sunny. Over the next hour or so:

1. The wind shifted from SW to N and jumped from 12 to 25+.
2. The pressure shot up from 1011 to 1021+.
3. The temperature dropped 63 to 50.
4. GREAT observation - the outgoing tide got held up by the winds. In fact it actually reversed for about an hour, then HAD to finally fall.
5. BEST of all, while you guys up north are freezing, we had our Icecrusher Regatta yesterday (60+ degrees, winds 10-15). Jennifer Lindsay won solo on her Taipan 4.9.
