The updated Sailing Instructions for the 2008 Tybee500 have now been posted to the Race Website http://www.tybee500.com.

12.2 The official protest / redress form in the RRS shall be completed and submit-ted to the Race Committee no later than one hour after the finish time of the pro-testing boat, and must be presented by the team leader to the PRO or his delegate. (Sections not applicable to these instructions may be ignored). The form must be accompanied by a check made out to the organizing authority in the amount of $100.00 (checks will be returned if the protest is upheld. (This amends RRS 61.2).
It is not legal to have an event under the US Sailing Rules and charge for protests. These rules are not amendable in the SI's.
