So, you want to see what its like to race the Great Texas 300... well this is your chance. See what it's like to be part of the Great Texas 300, try and beat the guns to the finish line in Galveston.
You will start 60min in front of GT300, same le mans style start, same start rules, then Dash to the finish in Galveston. After the race, go to the celebration at the Galveston Yacht Club for a great dinner and trophies.

To expand on this a little, there will be an opportunity for all catamarans to race the last leg of the Great Texas on the last day. It is about a 45 mile run from Surfside beach to Galveston. All are invited. The boats will start about 60 minn ahead of the regular GT300 racers. This is to give everyone the oportunity to join in on the fun and watch the racers go by as well as test thier own skills in the
Mini-GT
. This leg is usually a bit reachy, so no spinnakers required.
