[#8667]

This is my first try at attaching a picture. First I went and signed up at Imagestation so I could post it there. (Thanks to whomever suggested that.) If you don't see the pictures, go to: http://www.zing.com/picture/pe62b73002c82a31e930b346ca0bd47ad/fe600be4.jpg

Please help me figure out what this boat is/was.

It is 15' long, has no jib, no traveler, rotating centerboards, and a simple mast step U-bolted to the front crossbar. The tiller crossbar is forward of the aft crossbeam. I think the most intrigueing part is the logo on the mainsail.

A friend here wants to restore the boat, but I don't think it's worth it. What is it???

All right, I read that whole damn thread on posting pictures, and apparently I missed a lot! I am out of time now. But I'll be back.

I forgot to mention that we can't find any I.D. marks on the boat anywhere...

Thanks for the guess, basketcase. Do you know where I can find pictures of a seaspray to compare to?

Does anyone else have any ideas????

Let's see if this works. [Linked Image]

This should be a photo of a Seaspray.

Thanks! Unfortunately it's not the same boat. This one has curved beams and no foil at the bows.

Dennis,

Not sure what kind of boat you have. I'm thinking it may be a dingo cat. I don't have any info about that boat at all. There have been posts in the past about the dingo cat. You might check that out too. Also, just for the heck of it, you could call Sailrite at 1-800-348-2769 and ask to speak to someone who might be able to identify the logo on the mainsail. (That is, if the mainsail is close to the original). They have sail plans for quite a few boats, and they might be able to id it from the logo.

Good Luck
