If anyone can put me into contact with either an F18 or Hobie 16 A fleeter in the VA Beach area that wouldn't mind taking out a N00b, I would appreciate it. You'll appreciate it too...as will your class. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

Active racer please.

Drop me an email.

I talked to her at screwpile a year ago and she was mono-snobby about cats. Glad to see the change. She'd be way better off picking up a cheap A cat and racing in Va. beach. There's a quickly growing class of them there. She should have the skills, no problem. I don't believe there are any hardcore racing F-18s in VB anymore but could be wrong. Lotsa Hobie 16s.

It doesn't really matter the boat, just want to get her on the largest local class. A 16 would probably fit best.

Someone hook me up with the contact.

There's probably some contacts in here.

I sent her a facebook message about the Duck Cup. She could make some contacts and it always seems like someone is looking for crew.

Nice! Absolutely, any active fleet boat is cool. Whatever happens, make sure she gets on a boat with a non-yelling skipper, and someone that goes fast. Don't want her to get burned from the getgo. She's tough, she want's to do the Tybee. Hint, hint.

Where's MKrantz? I've got your Tybee crew, bro.

Better get her on a 16 first, I reckon. <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />

Glad to see a new sailor in our area. This past weekend's Sail the Bay regatta had about 10 H16s ,12 A-Cats, and 1 F18... But, there are 2-3 active F18s in the area... We took ours there last year, but normally take the H16 since there is a good fleet of them.. There is also several H16s up in the Richmond area that were missing this weekend. For really good H16 racing, you'll want to make the Hatteras Regatta in Aug. Check out the ESMA schedule for more info.

She's not new yet. She's coming from monohulls (Viper), so we're going to have to tread carefully. She likes to go fast, and I told her we don't disappoint!

Received two contacts so far, keep em coming. Include resume and references <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />
