[#3524]

Hi, been a while since Ive posted or sailed for that matter, Ive been buried with a new job and relo to Knoxville.

I am interested in the Concord Yacht Club (or is it Ft Loudon Yacht Club) on Ft. Loudon Lake. Anyone here a member? Any other good places to store (preferably mast up) or sail in the Knoxville area?

Thanks all.

Hey David,

Hope you find a good place to sail among the hillbillies. 😆

Plan to get down to the Gulf Coast this year?

There's a really big great sailing lake near Memphis called Sardis Lake 😉
JK Dave, I'd entertain a drive up to your area for the weekend to sail in your area! When are you thinking about going?

Hey Tim!

Ha yes, Sardis is a good open lake. Boat is still in Memphis, we should be moving the end of the month. I have been working in Oak Ridge since August. I will let you know when I get settled. Its about 6 hours with a boat in tow. Fr Loudon lake has a sailing club with what looks like a lot of beach cats stored on the shore mast up. Lot of large monohulls as well in slips.
