I recently bought an 2008 H-16 an when I took the mast out of the bag I found all little cracks on the comp tip. Has anyone seen this before? Sorry I don't know how to post a photo well.
Your photo did not come through. File the photo somewhere as a .jpg and then after you do your first
submit
for your post, it shows you a place to browse to attach a photo. Just click on
browse,
and it will take you through all your files. Find the photo where you filed it and click on it. (If the picture is too big a file, it will tell you, and then you can make it smaller in photoshop or somesuch, and save it again with another name or whatever, and do the process over again.)

Nice clear photo.
Those are likely cosmetic caused by some stress or stress when cold, but not right for a new boat. Contact your dealer to file a warranty or shipping damage claim. We likely would send a replacement CompTip if you like. The CompTip could be repaired, sanded and painted if that is a easier option.
