[#10824]

After much discussion at our sailing club, the kids (junior age) have decided to use H14's as training cat. They like the Dragoon but much to expensive; they like the Wave but much to simple and boxy feel, and sucks in the surf; they like the Mystere 4.3 but seems to be set up for adults and not as nice as the Dragoon. They all agreed that the H14 was the fun-est to sail, great in the waves, and fun with two kids as a turbo set up. So we are trying to locate used H14's, sailing and parts, etc. for them. So if you could donate some H14’s to our youth program that would be great or let us know the price you want for it. We are located in Washington State. Thanks!

We did find out that we could buy new H14's and have them shipped from Hobie Europe. The Hobie Co.’s in Brazil, South Africa, Australia, and Europe is still building the H14. Hobie USA is the only one that does not build them due to the conflict of interest with their roto-molded line of cats. Still if enough people want them maybe some day, they will build them again.

I'd love to help you out--I have 3 14s (2 of them Turbos) in my back yard as well as at least 3 extra masts and who knows what else! Too bad I'm in Va, though...

If you're looking for parts that can be shipped, let me know.
