Roller Furling on H-16

Has anybody used one and if so how did it work? Any suggestions ?

The one H16 I saw with a furling system was used for sailing lessons and seemed to work exceptionally well. I do know the jib on the furling system is a little smaller in sail area and one would lose a little performance. Still it would be nice to have one because you can furl it in strong winds or when you hit the beach.

that utilizes a H16 with a furling system. You could buy this video to see how well it works.

i bought a rf jib for my h16 because i singlehand. i attach it to the existing jib rigging just like the battened one.i keep the boat at a club with the mast up so i furl the jib by wrapping it around the forestay, it rolls into a smooth tube with negligible wrinkles. it sets and sails beautifully. i have raced with it, its slightly less powerful especially off the wind.
