What's the gross wave weight? Can you put four adults with a total weight of let's say 700 pounds on one? Just curious?

not sure of the gross weight.....but I have seen 4 adults on one, of course is was verry slow, and for some reason, it was sitting low in the water..........

And one time I was teaching a couple to sail (newbies) on a Hobie 18. The wind was 15+ and as they were brand new sailors, it was a bit scary.
So, I had them take the 18 back to the beach and we took out the Wave. Three big adults and boat behaved and sailed really well.
the Wave had all the same toys on it (mainsheet and jibsheet -- we added) and they learned a lot more without being scared to death.
Great boat and racing them is truly competitive.

We found an old Hobie brochure that said the Wave was good for up to 800 pounds.
