Hi all.

I am quite happy that I got my first Cat boat which happens to be a Wave (I haven't sailed it yet). I choose it mainly because of its great advantage of being easy to move around (I travel a lot) but at the same time I would love to have some more sail area.
I was reading about the Add-On Kit for the Wave that adds a Hooter System, it seems like a fantastic kit. Any idea on when its going to be available?, can it be used with or without the jib sail?

Another question is whether the jib kit really ads value to the wave in terms of speed and performance or its mostly for training purposes, I read already that the spinnaker is not that good.

Thanks for your comments.

In developing the Super Wave Kit I only added the jib as a Youth Boat idea. That way if two young kids get overwhelmed with wind using the Hooter, they can simply furl it and still have two sails to play with.
You might notice that the blade jib is pretty small anyway.

As to when, I now have two suppliers working toward getting the thing ready to go and getting me the pricing. As soon as I get that info, I will get it on the Forums and on our Online Marine Store so it can be ordered.
I have had a lot of folks asking for this setup and have been unable to get the suppliers to give me pricing. But they are now working hard on it.
Thanks
Rick
