This video on YouTube is supposed to be of an Impulse, but actually there's quite good footage of Bill Pepping flying his spinnaker in it.

Tim, Thanks for the post. Much appreciated. I'm planning to go there again this year as every other plan has been scuttled by other commitments.
Congratulations on your sailing as well! Seem to be getting your name up there on plenty of occasions.

most people camp, look for other mosquito sailors, and join them. Usually a good turn out.
10 mossies last count.

Hi all,

great footage of Mossies on Gippsland regional Win News service tonight, promoting the upcoming Sauna Sail. Plenty of Neil and others even Andrew I think flying a hull. Did have other Dinosaurs as well, Yvonnes also featured. <img src=

Hi all,

weather looks good. No sign of snow or hail <img src=

alt=

/>. Winds in the 10-20knot range Sat Sun, on the coast. So should be some wind at Hazelwood <img src=

alt=

/>. Max temp around 14 Saturday possible showers, warmer Sun Mon. About as good as it gets for winter in the Valley. <img src=

Hi all,

2008 Results are posted <img src=

alt=

/>

http://www.topyachtsoftware.com/results/2008/saunasail/SGrp1.htm

Mozzies having their own division. Very cool. <img src=

alt=

/>

Judging by the number of DNC or DNF in divisions other than the Mozzies it may have been a drifter. <img src=

alt=

/> Is this correct ? Waiting for a report.

Regards,

Peter

And judging by the A class cats being at the top of division 1 until they either went home, stayed on shore or tag teamed it looks like there wasn't much wind except for a few zephyrs. <img src=

/>

Regards,

Peter

Thanks Tim for promoting the weekend even though I don't have a mozzie this and the F16 posts got me interested enough to drag the boat 1500km. It's good to put faces to names and I'll be back again next year.
regards

Although there were moments of drifting, it was really just a light series - but extremely flukey, gusty and shifty, especially on Sunday when we had a light Easterly wind. It had a few of us tearing out what little hair we have left <img src=

alt=

/>

In the final race on Sunday (Race 5) Garry Jonstone and Gordon Hyde both sailed a brilliant race and we had to put up with the consequences of that for the rest of the evening <img src=

alt=

/> That didn't put a damper on the delicious meal Sandra and Veronica cooked up on the camp fire though.
