8-10 March Victorian State titles at Rosebud.
Please get your entry in before 29 February so catering can be organised.
Notice of race is on the web site under state titles.
Also Tim has gone to the effort of finding local accommodation information, its on the web site so have a look. Try and get your accommodation booked early as there will be a lot of other boats, as usual we have the Arrows, Dolphins and Wind rush coming along.
State titles are always a good event no mater how good or bad you are, you will always pick some new ideas. so if you haven't been to a state titles before make this your first one and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

Lindsay,

Thanks for the invitation. I'll come over the hill to race one of the weekends; just don't know which one yet. Much depends on the weather. <img src=

Peter

There is a pre-entry form on the VMCA site which should only take seconds to complete. No need to send money - pay at registration. Just let us know you're coming.

We had 32 last time. I would expect something close to 30.

Have fun at states. I was seriously coming but the boat had a slight accident at Victor Harbor and is not home yet. Hope to have it back for Easter (at Lake Bonney) or I will be sailing the dolphin

Steve I think the Dolphins are sailing with us at the states, anyway. I sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

They usually do but they don't have the numbers this year and are going to have their states at Easter instead.

Ben,

Report is written and being proof read by Tim I hope. More to follow soon. Weekend weather was great. <img src=

alt=

/> Wind tended to die out on a daily basis with NE wind being countered by southerly sea breeze.

Regards,

Peter

Yep, Peter's report is being worked on and the final masterpiece will be out soon. There are also some photos on the way I hope.

It's true the first two days were light but the final two races on Monday were really nice - around 13-15 knots

Took the Kiddies to the Grand Prix last weekend.

It reminded me very much of my weekend at the states.....

Lots of people going past me very quickly! <img src=

Hi Peter,

I've actually taken the sand paper to the top 2 battens.
Didn't over do it and I'm taking the sand paper with me tomorrow.
We've got 2 short courses on Sat & Sun afternoons
so I'll have plenty of time to tool around in the mornings
to see if there is an improvement or I need to do more.

Think I'll practise my Tacks while I'm at it! <img src=

Cheers
