Hi there- new to the forum.. Have been sailing in Yves Sansoucy's

all Mystere

club up here in Point Calumet, Québec for 5 years, and racing for 2 on a 5.5. If there is anything you need to know/get-the club/office is 20 minutes away from my home- and although I have never once in 5 years seen Yves , Celine is the one who is easily accessable for information -but- if you are having trouble- I speak french fluently, and would be happy to transmit the message/order/whatever on your behalf.

p.s.- Hi Rick- yes it's me, the Sharon who got through your EXCELLENT racing seminar in the Keys last April by the skin of my teeth, and learned a heck of a lot! (which made a big difference in my basic boat handling skills once I got back and put them into practice..) I will have to go back again some day, but this time at the helm....

Thanks Sharon. Here are my questions and statements for Yves and Celine:

I was sent some replacement rudder stocks when mine failed. They were not annodized. I was not asked to pay (under warranty?) but I sent payment anyway, in good faith.

They failed again for several reasons, one being that they were not annodized.

Later,
I aksed to buy some upper rudder stocks (only). I was sent stocks, and tillers (attached) and charged an (outrageous) high price. They also failed.

I asked for a price on a whole new mast assembly when mine failed. I was never given a price after weeks, months of waiting. So now I have a non-Mystere mast on my catamaran.

Approximately two years ago, the price list that Mystere offred, showed that the prices for most all parts had indeed TRIPLED. All parts were three times as much money as they had been, earlier. How do you expect your past customers to tollerate that treatment?

For many years, many seasons, it has been virtuouly impossible for your past customers to contact you when seeking parts for their Mystere catamarans. How will we learn to trust that you are willing to support your past buyers and owners of your catamarans that you have built?

I can offer more questions. Perhaps you will be willing to attempt to answer the questions presented so far, here, now.

Are the customers in Europe able to find replacement parts?

My entire rudder system is failing. It has been failing ever since I bought my used 1997 Mystere in 2000. I have never been able to buy parts that were as good or better than the failing, original parts.

I have not been able to effectively communicate with you and your company.
