I have a tuning guide for the 6.0 from when it was the Alter cup boat. The twister should be very much alike the hobie tiger 1st generation.Call Mystere in Quebec to confirm or go on Cat-alist .com for more info.....Bob

Yes, the 6.0 rig is very similar.
Do you have a digital copy of it?

Good day everybody,

In Holland the mystere story is not so long.
At the launch of the boat in Europe I was there and a lot of people were interested in the twister.
But probably the money was not there to supply a boat’s to a good racing team’s, at least in Holland.
One year later mystere was supplied by Mulder catamaran, they also had a nice f20 boat.
But one year later I never have seen one anymore.
So it became one of the less known F18 boat’s.
Also the Hunter f18 developed partly by Mischa Heemskerk, is not known very well.
This was a combination of the three main F18 of that time the Inter-18, tiger, and Hawk.
Especially Hobie Europe had a strong team fleet and they were winning a lot of races.

Last week I saw one for sail on the internet so I bought it
So now I’m going to take out my twister tomorrow for the First time.
For tuning is have not the normal Mystere sails but a quit new set of pentex sails,
and a suit of new monofilm/ pentex sails.
A snuffer (stow away) system on the genaker boom.

Previous boats were
I started when I was 12 on a Hobie 16.
Later a bought a serious crashed Miracle 20 Carbon. Rebuild is and sailed and raced it until.
I was sunken by a German on the rount texel near the light house, newspaper told the story
Only female Texel competitor sunken by German U-boat.
Mean while I had to less time to repair the boat, and finish an other F18 project.

But now is time to start again with an old twister.

But are mystere catamarans still build,
is there a group/class of mystere sailors?

Greeting from Holland

The boats are not built anymore, however parts are still available. If you look through some of the threads here you should find the contact info for them.

There are a lot of boats in Canada. We have about 10 here in our area.
