I have recieved my new tramp for my Mystere 5.0. I do not think that the original tramp was fastened properly, so I am searching for advice on what to use and how to accomplish attaching the new tramp.

OK, the

is the slot in the tramp intergrated with the tube that slides into the pockest at the rear of the tramp. The
p
is a type of rivited pinion at either end and at center. The
u
is a common stainless steel strap.
If necessary, I will send photos instead of this limited graphic above, but i thought that someone on the forum could offer some insight on how to attach this properly.
I have a coupl of ideas that may suffice, but I would prefer to get it right the first time...

I'll take a stab.
Tie off the line at P. Lace it P-V-U-V-U-V-P-V-U-V-U-V and tie off at P again.
That is it!
Thanks for ALL of your help. The tramp is nice and tight.
Now I have to figure out why the hiking straps are too long.
Hope to have my Mystere on the water real soon...
